CE Conducted Emission pre-compliance EMC test setup

This test setup measures electromagnetic conducted emissions from the equipment under test (EUT) according to CISPR 11 or CISPR 22 EMC standards. The product includes various components and accessories such as a line impedance stabilization network (LISN) to provide pure electric power for the EUT, a wideband spectrum or EMI analyzer for measuring the emissions level and an optional transient limiter for protecting the analyzer input against the harmful transients.

Application

This test setup is mainly aimed for detecting the maximum level of conducted emissions of electronic modules within the operation frequency range of the system. In this case, detection of unwanted conducted emissions from the EUT is simply carried out by configuring the receiver system to operate in the peak detection mode. This test setup dramatically helps increasing time to market of the products and avoids imposing costly delays to the production line of the systems.
