10M SEMI-ANECHOIC CHAMBER

Purpose The 10mSAC is developed with the focus on compliance testing emission and susceptibility at 3 m and 10 m test distance. The complete system is designed for multipurpose use. International, US, European and various national standards are covered. The products able to be tested range from telecom equipment, household equipment, automotive components, Industrial Scientific and Medical equipment (ISM) as well as Information Technology Equipment (ITE). Listing of the 10mSAC as FCC facility, getting European accreditation of VCCI recognition is equally possible. The 10mSAC combines full conformity with standards, with an enhanced frequency range up to 18 GHz. Consisting of a fully modular system for shielding and absorbers, the installed chamber can be set up stepwise and adapted to upcoming normative. Emission Measurements Radiated emission measurements for compliance testing, development and quality control at 10 m distance are perfectly covered by the 10mSAC. The 10mSAC complies with ANSI C63.4 and CISPR 16-1-4 for a 5.0 m quiet zone diameter. In additional, the 10mSAC performs perfectly up to 18 GHz. Immunity Testing The 10mSAC features superior performance for radiated immunity testing. The accuracy achieved according IEC 1000-4-3 and EN 61000-4-3 in a 1.5 x 1.5 m plane at 3 m test distance fully complies with the a.m. standards. In additional, the 10mSAC performs perfectly up to 18 GHz. Radiation Radiated Emission The quiet zone according to ANSI C63.4 and CISPR 16-1-4 has a diameter of 5 m at 10 m test distance. The quiet zone diameter is 3 m at 3 m test distance. The performance achieved according to ANSI C63.4 for both distance is better than +/- 3 dB and the guaranteed values for site VSWR is  6.0 dB or better. Radiated Immunity The accuracy achieved according IEC 1000-4-3 and EN 61000-4-3 in a 1.5 x 1.5 m plane at 3 m test distance complies with the a.m. standards. As required 75% of the 16 points are within the 0 to +6 dB accuracy.  Integrated in the floor are two cable ducts, which feed the necessary cables from the access panels (AP) to the connecting points (CP).  The facility has a host building attached support system. As option a self-supporting system is available.  The total weight is approx. 70,000 kg depending on furnishing and selected options.
